About Otokomichi
"Otokomichi is an online Trading Card Game themed around the JE (Johnny's Entertainment) group/band, Kanjani8. Read below for some more short "abouts" to answer some "whys".
| Why "Otokomichi"? |
| "Otokomichi" is part of the title for Kanjani8's sixth single, Zukkoke Otokomichi. I chose "Otokomichi" as the name because it means, literally, boy's road, which seemed fitting for an analogy on "the road traveled" and because Kanjani8 is a group of boys. |
| Why Kanjani8? |
| To put it plainly, since all these individual JE groups have their own TCGs popping up everywhere, I felt there should be a Kanjani8 TCG as well, and being the fan and person I am, I decided that now would be a good time to start one. |
| Haven't I seen you (Satsuki) around before? |
| Yes, you may have seen me around before. I'm the co-owner and co-founder of both FROOTS and ALL or NOTHING. I'm also an active member of Countdown, so there's a good chance that you may have seen me in any of the three TCGs mentioned above. |
| History of Otokomichi |
| The idea of Otokomichi began on the 23rd of February, 2008. Originally Satsuki just wanted to make some decks for the heck of it, but it ended up turning into this. That's the basic history of Otokomichi up to this point. (History is subjected to editing.) |
